πŸ“„ Surveys & Interviews

A total of 311 individuals participated in our comprehensive survey. The gender distribution was fairly balanced, with 53% of the respondents identifying as male and 47% as female. In terms of age distribution, the majority (43%) of the respondents fell within the 25-35 age range, while a significant portion (24%) were aged between 35 and 45. πŸ’πŸ» Persona and Story board

After conducting extensive research on allergies and gathering insights from interviews with individuals who have allergies, Our team was able to synthesize a detailed consumer profile that captures the key challenges and needs of this target audience. Based on this consumer profile, I developed a storyboard that maps out the user journey of allergy sufferers during their travels. This storyboard helped me identify pain points and opportunities for improvement, and provided a foundation for designing the next step of the "TRIP CARE" project. Using this information, we can create solutions that address the specific needs and preferences of allergy sufferers and provide them with a more comfortable and worry-free travel experience.

Story Image

User Journey map

After conducting thorough research on the challenges faced by allergy sufferers while traveling, we created a user journey map to gain a deeper understanding of their experiences. This map details the various stages of a typical travel journey and identifies the pain points and feelings that allergy sufferers might encounter along the way. By visualizing this journey, we were able to empathize with the user and gain insights into their needs and preferences.

The user journey map is a crucial tool for identifying pain points and opportunities for improvement. It helps to highlight the moments where allergies can be particularly challenging, such as meal times, interactions with new environments, or exposure to potential allergens. By understanding these pain points and feelings, we can develop targeted solutions that address the specific needs and preferences of allergy sufferers and provide them with a more comfortable and worry-free travel experience.

⌚ Product design orientation and concept

The concept for the allergy-friendly watch is based on a user-centric approach that prioritizes the needs and preferences of allergy sufferers. The watch will feature a medication dispenser that allows users to store and dispense medication at pre-set intervals. This feature will be customizable, allowing users to adjust their medication schedule as needed. In addition to the medication dispenser, the watch will also feature an allergen detection system that alerts the user to potential allergens in their environment. The system will use a combination of sensors and machine learning algorithms to detect and identify common allergens, such as pollen, dust, and pet dander. When a potential allergen is detected, the watch will vibrate and display a warning message to the user.

Story Image

Product Design

To ensure maximum effectiveness, the allergy-friendly watch will be developed with a focus on user testing and feedback. This will enable us to continually improve and refine the watch based on the needs and preferences of our users. We will also work closely with allergy organizations and medical professionals to ensure that our allergen detection system is accurate and reliable. The watch will be designed to be intuitive and easy to use, with clear and concise language that is accessible to all users. Users will be able to customize their allergy profile and medication schedule via a companion app, which will sync with the watch. The app will also provide real-time information on potential allergens in the user's environment and offer personalized recommendations for managing allergies.
